Orders start syncing within 15 minutes.
How order sync works
OrbisCommerce pulls all open, paid orders from Etsy every 15 minutes. Orders appear in the Orders tab with the buyer's shipping address pre-filled.
When you generate a label for an Etsy order, OrbisCommerce automatically:
- Marks the order as shipped on Etsy
- Uploads the tracking number to the order
- Triggers Etsy's shipping notification email to your buyer
IOSS and EU orders
For orders shipped to EU countries, Etsy collects VAT at checkout using their IOSS number. OrbisCommerce automatically attaches Etsy's IOSS number to EU-bound labels — no manual action required.
From July 1, 2026, a €3 customs fee applies per HS code / country-of-origin combination on B2C shipments under €150. This fee is calculated and charged at label creation.
Shipping profiles and rates
Etsy shipping profiles are informational only — OrbisCommerce uses its own live carrier rates, which are typically lower than Etsy's calculated shipping. Your buyers pay what Etsy charges at checkout; the difference is your shipping margin.
Disconnecting Etsy
Go to Integrations → Etsy → Disconnect. Existing labels and order history are retained. New orders will no longer sync.
Reconnecting after token expiry
Etsy OAuth tokens expire after 12 months. If your orders stop syncing, go to Integrations → Etsy and click Reconnect to re-authorize.
